If you’re in the Philadelphia area this October, be sure to check out the fun-filled event “Divabetic — Make Over Your Diabetes.”
The free program is intended to help women with diabetes feel beautiful both inside and out, and it presents diabetes education in the context of a fun setting that includes fashion and beauty experts, diabetes educators, and registered dietitians motivating guests to take care of their diabetes or that of their loved ones. Highlights of the day include “Boa-licious Workouts,” the “‘Diabetes Numerology’ Self-Care Game,” and a “Glam More, Fear Less Plus Size Fashion Show.” Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free makeup application and to win prizes and giveaways.
