If you’ve never heard of the TV show American Ninja Warrior, now might be a good time to start watching: Kyle Cochrane, a college student and athlete with Type 1 diabetes, has jumped, run, and climbed his way through the “World’s Most Difficult Obstacle Course” into the finals of the sports competition series.
The final rounds of the show — which features athletes navigating various obstacles such as the 14-foot high “Warped Wall” and the “Salmon Ladder,” a series of vertical pegs that the competitors must “jump” using a pull-up bar — begin airing on the G4 network on Sunday, July 8 at 9 PM EST and continue on NBC on Monday, July 9 at 9 PM EST.
