Do I need a pre-exercise snack? If so, what should I eat?

Depending on how exercise affects your blood sugar, you may find that you need to eat some form of carbohydrate 15–30 minutes before doing it. If so, choose something on the lighter side, such as a few whole wheat crackers, that will keep your blood sugar up but won’t weigh you down.
