Overuse of over-the-counter analgesics such as aspirin, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen can lead or contribute to chronic kidney failure. Use these products as directed on the label, unless your doctor tells you to do otherwise. If you have kidney disease, ask your doctor before using any of these drugs.
