Many airport and some train station bathrooms now have medical waste containers that can be used for disposing of sharps. You can also buy small sharps containers for use during travel. Never leave your used sharps in a wastebasket or in a seat pocket. Someone could get stuck later. If you don’t have or can’t find a sharps container, use a clear water bottle with a screw cap as a temporary container. Anyone handling it later will be protected from being stuck.
