Diabetic Cooking

Dill Dip

Preparation time: 15 minutes. Chilling time: at least 2 hours.


  • 1 1/3 cups fat-free sour cream
  • 1 1/3 cups reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons dry onions
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 3 drops hot sauce


Combine sour cream and mayonnaise in a mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Let dip sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to blend flavors. Serve with assorted crunchy vegetables.

Yield: 21 servings.
