- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing-style)
- 1/4 cup light mayonnaise (not salad dressing-style)
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
Place both types of mayonnaise and vinegar in a small bowl and stir to combine. Stir in basil. Cover and refrigerate at least an hour to allow flavors to blend. Use as a sandwich spread or salad dressing.
Yield: 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons.
Serving size: 1 tablespoon.
