Honeydew Agua Fresca

Summer is a time for fun in the sun, which means that staying hydrated at this time of year is especially important. With just 5–10 minutes and a few common ingredients, you can quench your thirst with this nutritious, delicious drink!



  • 1/4 large honeydew melon, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (juice of 2 limes)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups club soda, chilled
  • 4 lime wedges
  • 4 mint sprigs


Combine melon, mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar in blender; blend until smooth. (Mixture may be blended in advance and chilled for several hours.)

Pour into 4-cup measuring cup and stir in enough club soda to measure 4 cups.

Pour into four glasses. Garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs. Serve immediately.
