Many people with disabilities enjoy playing golf, too — or would like to give it a try. Thanks to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and to a growing awareness of the needs of people with various disabilities, more and more golf courses throughout the United States are developing disability-friendly policies and offering such amenities as specialized golf carts and instruction. Here are some resources to help you learn about educational and playing opportunities for people with disabilities in your area:
