A1C Levels Chart

This A1C levels chart shows normal A1C levels for people without diabetes as well as the A1C criteria used to diagnosed prediabetes[1] and diabetes[2].

A1C LEVELS CHART FOR DIAGNOSIS  
Normal for person without diabetes Below 5.7%
Prediabetes Between 5.7% and 6.4%
Diabetes 6.5% or higher
(For people diagnosed with diabetes, the American Diabetes Association recommends[3] a target A1C level of less than 7.0%)
