The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) and Ford Motor Company have teamed up on an online auction to raise money for Type 1 diabetes research.
Among the hundreds of items being auctioned are raffle tickets for a free two-year lease on a 2009 Ford Flex, raffle tickets for a Harley Davidson F-250 Super Duty Truck, raffle tickets for a 2007 Harley “Fat Boy” motorcycle, vacations, jewelry, and collectibles. The auction ends August 26. In previous years, the auction was only open to company employees; this year is the first time it is open to the general public.
Over the last 10 years, Ford has raised over $20 million for JDRF. You can read more about the Ford–JDRF partnership here.
