Do you have an idea to make diabetes management better? Here is your chance to make your idea a reality: The 2011 DiabetesMine Design Challenge is currently accepting entries for “an innovative new diabetes device or web application.” Three grand prize winners will win a free consultation with a design firm and $7,000 to help launch their product. Once all entries have been submitted, 10 finalists will be determined by an open vote, with a panel of medical industry experts ultimately choosing the grand prize winners.
This online competition will run from now until April 29, 2011, and is open to everyone of all age groups. To participate, you can upload a 2–3 minute YouTube video or submit a 2–3 page written document with images. To find out more or to enter, visit the Design Challenge contest page. Good luck!
