If you live in the Houston area, you’ll soon have the chance to attend the “American Diabetes Association Diabetes Expo,” taking place on Saturday, October 17, at NRG Park.
The event will feature speakers and special guests such as comedian Cedric “The Entertainer,” Miss Idaho 2014 Sierra Sandison, and NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins; various health screenings (including HbA1c, blood pressure, cholesterol, feet, vision, dental, sleep apnea, and more); exhibits from diabetes-related companies and organizations; a healthy eating and active living area; one-on-one ask-the-expert sessions; and more.
Registration for the Expo is free. Those who preregister for the event will be able to enter the Diabetes Expo starting at 8:45 AM.
