Study Investigating Distress in Type 1 Diabetes Seeks Participants

If you are 18–30 years old and are living with Type 1 diabetes, you may be interested in a new study investigating the association between distress, social stigma, and peer support in young adults with the condition.

Participation involves taking a confidential online survey about your experiences having Type 1 diabetes. You are not required to provide personal information to take part in the study.

A $50 gift card will be drawn for every 10 participants as a thank you for participating. If you choose to provide your contact information at the end of the survey to enter the drawing, the information will be stored separately from your survey responses and will be deleted after the gift cards are drawn.

For more information about the research, visit the study page. And for questions about the trial, contact the University of South Florida Institutional Review Board at (813) 974-5638 or Principal Investigator Ms. Sushma Dey at (407) 421-7893.
