Share Your Thoughts With the FDA

On November 3, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be hosting a discussion between their senior agency drug and device leadership and the diabetes community to discuss unmet needs in diabetes. The event will include a panel of people with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, as well as representatives from JDRF, the American Diabetes Association, and the diabetes website diaTribe.

In order to accurately present the numerous challenges people with diabetes face every day, diaTribe has created a short survey soliciting thoughts on what’s important when it comes to living with diabetes. Feedback from the survey, which takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, will go directly to the FDA and will help influence the conversation on November 3.

Very good survey. I stressed meter accuracy as something the FDA could do for us. My old 60 second Bayer elite was very accurate. Nearly always 5% below the lab comparison if you took 3 meter readings and averaged them. Now my accucheck has been off as much over 20% but usually at least 10% and this plus or minus randomly.
