Many of you are probably familiar with Kerri Morrone Sparling, founder of the diabetes-themed blog Six Until Me[1]. Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes[2] at the age of 4, Kerri started her blog as a way to tap into the larger diabetes community available online.

Recently, Kerri sat down for an interview with the Web site PharmaPhorum to give her perspectives on what it’s like to live with diabetes. What is the biggest challenge for people who are newly diagnosed? How could pharmaceutical companies do a better job of interacting with people who have diabetes? Check out the video[3] to learn about Kerri’s viewpoints on these questions — and more.
