If you have a school-aged child with diabetes and live in the area of Washington, DC, you may be interested in a free support event being hosted by the Diabetes National Institute and the Diabetes Youth Group of Georgetown University Children’s Medical Center.
On Sunday, April 23, from 1:45 PM to 3:30 PM, the organizations will be holding a laser tag party at an amusement center in Falls Church, Virginia, where the participants will have the opportunity to meet other children with diabetes who are experiencing the same challenges. Parents are asked to remain near the venue for the duration of the event.
