What We’re Reading: Levitra and More at WalmartWeb Team December 10, 2010 Recently, Walmart has introduced some changes to its pharmacy and prescription drug costs. Those with diabetes might be interested to know what the newest changes are. Walmart now sells the erectile dysfuntion drug Levitra (brand name vardenafil) for $9 a pill and ReliOn Confirm Blood Glucose Meters for $9 as part of their effort in “helping people with diabetes by offering a comprehensive, value-priced” line of diabetes products. Further, manufacturer Eli Lilly has created a private-label Humulin ReliOn brand line of insulin that is being sold exclusively at Walmart and Sam’s Club stores for $24.88 per 10-mililliter vial. For more information about these and other products, you can visit www.relion.com. This blog entry was written by Web Intern Helen Zhu. I certainly agree with you, Gary. Walmart's only claim about this program is that the cost is about half the price that many consumers currently pay. I hope that the other Walmart product information is more helpful for you!
