Diabetes Self-Management Blog

This month, CVS is launching a series of preventive health screenings in conjunction with its “To Your Health” program. The program also features a series of mile-long walks to help raise awareness of the importance of exercise in maintaining good health.

CVS hopes to host 800 health fairs in eight major US metropolitan areas this year to provide free tools for early detection of potential health problems, like diabetes, high blood pressure, and even vision problems. These “To Your Health” events will feature free preventive health screenings for blood glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure, bone density, and vision.

To find out more, you can visit the “To Your Health” Web site. You can also find when and where events are being held near you using the CVS health event locator.
