In need of a little diabetes motivation? Then you’ll want to check out the Web site Broken Pancreas. Created by photographer Ken Kotch, who has Type 1, the site profiles some people with diabetes doing amazing things, such as drag racing, competing in triathlons, going on long-distance motorcycle rides, and practicing demanding martial arts. In addition to featuring these portraits, Broken Pancreas is also raising money for diabetes awareness by fielding a NYC marathon charity team.
