Diabetes Self-Management Blog

We’ve just learned of a great opportunity for users of Lantus insulin, but you have to act fast to take advantage.

A casting director in New York City is looking for people living with Type 2 diabetes who are currently using Lantus insulin to take part in a Lantus SoloSTAR photo shoot. Men and women from ages 40 to 55 who are using Lantus — ideally, the Lantus SoloSTAR pen — are eligible, and all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities are welcome.

The full-day shoot will take place on Thursday, December 20 in New York City. The selected participants will receive $4800, and travel and lodging expenses will also be covered.

Interested parties should submit three or more photos of themselves, both full length and close up, to candice@picturefarmpro.com. The pictures do not need to be professional; candid photos are fine. E-mails should also indicate whether you are currently using Lantus for your Type 2 diabetes and, if so, whether you are using a syringe or the Lantus SoloSTAR pen. Also be sure to include your full name, age, where you live, and your contact phone number and e-mail address.

The e-mail submission deadline is today, Monday, December 10.

  1. Just saw this blog. Are you still looking for people that are using Lantus Solo Star pen insulin with Type 2 diabetes. I am 67 years old and have been using Lantus for about a year. I live in Honolulu. If you still need people I can be reached at my email.

    Thank You,

    Tom
