“Believe”

Reading through the diabetes headlines is not often an uplifting experience, but this story might just make your day: To support his 8-year-old brother Jacob, who has Type 1 diabetes — and to help raise funds to find a cure — a 9-year-old Australian boy named Sebastian has written “Believe,” a song that encourages his little brother to overcome the obstacles in his path and strive for his dreams. The video for “Believe,” starring Sebastian, Jacob, and their sister Caity, can be viewed here. The song is also available for download from www.sebastianmusic.biz for $0.99 AUD (roughly $1.12 USD at the current exchange rate), with net proceeds being donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
