In need of a little diabetes motivation? Then you’ll want to check out the Web site Broken Pancreas[1]. Created by photographer Ken Kotch, who has Type 1[2], the site profiles some people with diabetes doing amazing things, such as drag racing, competing in triathlons, going on long-distance motorcycle rides, and practicing demanding martial arts. In addition to featuring these portraits, Broken Pancreas is also raising money for diabetes awareness by fielding a NYC marathon charity team. To find out more about donating, and to read about some inspiring people with diabetes, click here[3]!
