What We're Reading: Raise Your Voice!

Web Team

Next Monday, April 14, will be Raise Your Voice Day, a day dedicated to increasing awareness about Type 1 diabetes through blogging, volunteering, fundraising, and other efforts.

The day was created by Kerri Morrone, who writes about her life with Type 1 diabetes on the blog Six Until Me. You can read more about the Raise Your Voice initiative in Kerri's posts "Raise Your Voice: Ideas," "Raise Your Voice: Two More Weeks," and "Sound the Alarm: Diabetes Alert Day."

You can download the Raise Your Voice icon (in a variety of colors) from Kerri's blog, and you can also purchase items featuring the logo here—profits go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF).

How will you help raise awareness about Type 1 diabetes on Monday? Share your ideas with a comment here.
