Each year, the beverage industry adds hundreds of new choices to tempt people to drink more of their products. While it’s fun to try new products and sample new tastes, keep an eye on the Nutrition Facts panel on the beverages you buy. Controlling the amount of calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium, and carbohydrate in beverages will not only help you control your diabetes, but it can also prevent heart disease and weight gain.
