Joining a support group can help you adjust to a gluten-free diet and give you the satisfaction of knowing you are contributing to celiac disease research. Benefits of membership may include newsletters, recipes, online message boards, updates from food manufacturers, and referrals to health-care professionals in your area. You do not have to be a member to access information from most groups’ Web sites, and most also offer free pamphlets that can be ordered by phone or via the Internet.
