Golfing With Disabilities

Many people with disabilities enjoy playing golf, too — or would like to give it a try. Thanks to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and to a growing awareness of the needs of people with various disabilities, more and more golf courses throughout the United States are developing disability-friendly policies and offering such amenities as specialized golf carts and instruction.
