Provides resources for professionals, people living with pain, and their families and caregivers. The Web site has information and advice on all aspects of living with pain, including choosing a pain treatment program.
COMMISSION ON ACCREDITATION OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES
This nonprofit organization can provide you with a listing of accredited pain providers and programs in your state or province. (Your health insurance may require that a program be CARF-accredited for you to receive reimbursement.) The Web site also explains what to look for, what to ask, and what to expect when you seek various types of care.
