I recently subscribed to Diabetes Self-Management magazine, but I haven’t received my first issue yet. How long will it take?
You should receive your first copy in 4–6 weeks from the time you placed your order. If you don’t receive it within 6 weeks, please feel free to call us at (800) 234-0923. Operators are available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 9:30 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM (Eastern Time).

How can I find out when my Diabetes Self-Management subscription expires?
Your subscription’s expiration date is printed on the second line of the magazine’s mailing label, on the far right-hand side of that line. You can also check your expiration date online by clicking here.

I ordered a free trial issue of Diabetes Self-Management, but I received an invoice. How come?
The free trial issue is a way to invite new readers to sample our magazine. And, in fact, many people who receive that trial issue also choose to subscribe for the entire year. We have found, however, that unless we enter the year’s subscription at the time that the trial issue is ordered, it is virtually impossible to provide uninterrupted service to those customers who choose to continue. Hence, we send the invoice promptly, and sometimes it arrives before the free issue. If you are not sure whether you would like to subscribe, just hold on to your invoice until the free issue arrives. If you choose to subscribe at that point, pay the invoice. If you do not wish to subscribe, you can write “Cancel” on the invoice, return it to us, and owe nothing.

I paid for my subscription but received another invoice. Why?
Your payment and the new invoice may have crossed in the mail. If this happens to you, simply wait for several weeks to be sure that another bill does not arrive. Or, if you prefer, click here to check on the status of your payment.

Can I get a replacement copy of an issue if I never received my copy or if my copy was damaged?
We apologize if there was a problem with one of your issues. Click here to order a replacement copy.

I ordered a book, but I haven’t received it yet.
You should receive your book within 4–6 weeks of when you placed the order. If you’ve been waiting longer than that, please contact our Customer Service Department. You can reach us on the Web by clicking here or over the phone at (800) 664-9269. This toll-free line is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM (Eastern Time).

Can I send a book as a gift and have it shipped to the recipient’s address?
Yes. You can place gift orders by calling (800) 664-9269.

Can I buy multiple copies of a book?
Yes. You can order multiple copies of our books by calling (800) 664-9269. To order a large number of books at a special bulk rate, please call (212) 989-0200. Someone will be available to help you Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM (Eastern Time).
