You are probably familiar with YouTube, the popular Web site that allows people to post videos online. But it’s not only individuals who post. Health-care companies have gotten into the act as well, setting up their own "channels" and providing videos on diabetes and other health topics.
Just recently, the pharmaceutical company Sanofi-Aventis launched a YouTube channel called GoInsulin. The videos on GoInsulin highlight personal stories of people with Type 2 diabetes who have found success using insulin. Johnson & Johnson also has its own YouTube channel, with over a hundred videos on a wide range of health topics.
