Diabetes Self-Management Blog

Today is American Diabetes Association Alert Day, a “one-day wake-up call to inform the American public about the seriousness of diabetes, particularly when diabetes is left undiagnosed or untreated.”

If you don’t have prediabetes or Type 2 diabetes, today is a good day to evaluate your risk for the conditions by taking the Diabetes Risk Test. The test, which takes about 60 seconds to complete, asks simple questions about weight, age, family history, and other risk factors and provides tips for preventing Type 2 and prediabetes. To take the test, click here.

For every test taken through April 25, 2014, Boar’s Head Brand will donate $5 to the American Diabetes Association, up to $50,000. American Diabetes Association Alert Day is also nationally supported by Walgreens.
