Diabetes Self-Management Blog

On Thursday, April 25, US News, Mayo Clinic, and the American Diabetes Association will be holding a live Twitter chat about Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes in children.

The experts will discuss topics such as “the growing number of young people who develop diabetes, the challenge of managing the disease and reducing its risks, and ways that parents can help their children cope with medical issues and lifestyle changes.”

The chat will occur from 2 PM to 3 PM EST, with the hashtag #KidsDiabetes. The discussion will be moderated by @USNewsHealth with expert contributions from @MayoClinic and @AmDiabetesAssn.
