Diabetes Self-Management Blog

Looking to make a difference for the American Diabetes Association (or another good cause), but short on funds? Then you may be interested in checking out a new initiative by the Duane Reade Charitable Foundation, a philanthropic arm of the New York–based drugstore chain.

Through August 11, 2012, the foundation will be making a $5 donation for each new “like” on Duane Reade’s Facebook page, up to a total of $100,000. After “liking” the page, you can vote on which of six charities, including the ADA, you’d like to direct the funds toward. For more information, click here.
