Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Eli Lilly and Company, makers of Tradjenta (linagliptin) and Jentadueto (linagliptin/metformin hydrochloride) tablets, recently announced the debut of My Well Planner, a free online program for adults who have Type 2 diabetes.
The program is designed to help people overcome the emotional barriers they face dealing with diabetes by offering personalized content that adjusts as participants use the tool over time. After enrolling, users are asked to complete a self-assessment that determines their motivation levels; information from this evaluation is then used to tailor the content the individual receives. The program additionally provides progress reports that can be printed out and discussed with a health-care provider.
