Online Risk Evaluator

Return to Article

SUPPLEMENTARY CONTENT

The American Diabetes Association has developed a short test to help people evaluate their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. It can be taken online or viewed as a single page that is suitable for printing. Here’s where to find it:

Printable page

These tools are especially worthwhile for relatives of people with Type 2 diabetes, who may have a higher genetic risk of developing diabetes. It’s also a good idea for everyone to recheck their risk from time to time, especially if something changes, such as a person’s level of physical activity or weight. Risk also inevitably goes up with age. So whatever your risk is today, it can change in the future.
